Canon does it again. What can I say? For the sports and wedding shooter, this camera is pretty awesome. Besides the fact that it shoots 10 frames per second with a 110 frame burst, it has 2 digic III processors that process like lightening. It also has a self cleaning chip built in. 6400ISO is also another great feature as it allows the photographer to capitalize on low light scenarios. Many other new features. Check it out at canoneos.com.

Long Way Round, is a fascinating and inspiring documentary with Ewen McGregor and Charley Boorman. They decided to ride their motorcycles around the world heading east from London through Prague, Ukraine, Russia, Kazikstan, Mongolia, Siberia, then through Alaska, Canada, the US, to New York. The trip was originally planned as a holiday, and they ended up coordinating sponsorship and turning it into a TV show. It is inspiring not only in landscapes and the photographic opportunities they come across, but the business of creating a show, with sponsorship from companies. A lot can be learned from this in our creative business.
This documentary is full of the random adventure that comes along with traveling, as well as the photogenic world that they encounter. It inspires me to get on the plane and photograph the random encounters in other countries. More info here: http://www.longwayround.com/
