It’s here! At least the Beta version. Capture One is, in my opinion the best RAW editing software out there. The color you get out of it is unbeatable. I’ve tried matching the color in Adobe Camera RAW and Aperture, and can’t do it like I can in C1. It takes many more steps in the other programs. The new Capture One 4 has many new features and is a lot faster.
It’s a primary key ingredient in my post processing style to get the look that I get. It’s worth the price in a heartbeat. So here’s the tip: Purchase Capture One Pro.

what do you think of Adobe Lightroom? i switched from C1 pro to lightroom early this year and have fallen for lightroom. But, with this recommendation, I’ll likely revisit C1 pro and check out the new v4. thanks for the heads up.
Haven’t messed with it much. The most important feature of Capture One to me is the color. It has a special algorithm for interpreting the RAW file that is richer. That’s the great thing about it. Work flow is super fast as well. They changed the file organization setup in the new one. I just downloaded the beta version and I’m trying to figure it out. It’s much nicer already!
