Your color palette is the shit. It’s cool, it’s warm, it’s so Nick Onken. I can spot your work from a mile away now, and there’s maybe 3 or 4 photographers I can say that about. I’m sure there are people with a far more sophisticated eye than myself that can look at 10 photos and figure out who took them, but to my relatively untrained eye, your work is so distinctive.
do you direct your own shoots? do you have your own stylist or it depends on the shoots; magazine, what they want, etc? good job! the model really gave her energy. love it.

So for the shots in the convenience store, did you have to work out some sort of agreement with the owners, or was it more of an impromptu session?
Impromptu.. it was actually outside the store.
